Yamaha RX-V863BL 735 Watt 7.1-Channel Home Theater Receiver Review

I decided to replace my Pioneer Elite receiver VSX91 because only supports HDMI with audio and video, and not just want a new toy. Normally, I worried about the decisions, including those of other models from Pioneer (I have a Pioneer 1019 because of very good reviews, but again, why he bought the setup of confusion, depending) Onkyo (I have a SR805 Onkyo), etc. Choose one a bit 'hesitant because it was really a 2008 model. I paid $ 550, but it can be found on Amazon.com for $ 500. It 'been awide selection with lots of surprises, including: 1) to obtain the video that dramatically improves the signal to my cable box, including SD, 2) the sound quality better than the Pioneer Elite, 3) Improve ' is a connection YDS10 iPod (around $ 50) very cool and sounds good with my system, the first time my iPod has a good sound on my system, my speakers are paradigm (in a configuration with a 5.1 paradigm in 10 inches and I use a Samsung Blu-ray for my other source). The adapterowner to mitigate cable and plays extended by two modes, a part of nature and only compressed sounds great. The video interface with the television screen is pretty rudimentary, but sufficient (Yamaha, why not display color or cover?). The iPod also plays in the second zone, which means I can play outside of the pool and my family can watch on television. Very nice.  Read more...
