Acoustimass 3 Series IV speaker system – Black Review

I use the system as a speaker with a very clean Harman / Kardon AVR-154 receiver. Like many others, I found the bass a bit 'lacking, but only at low volume: do not skimp and get a response quite satisfactory.
Unfortunately, I live in an apartment with neighbors, I would not disturb my friend, so there's not much opportunity very satisfactory. On the other hand, I heard a subwoofer in the past and I found myself adjusting the subwooferVolume often depends on the type of music and volume amplifier is quite refreshing not having to deal with it, but I really have no bass response at low volumes.
